how it works
     4 easy steps

  1. You decide which perennial flowers, herbs, plants or trees hold special meaning to you!

  2. We will gladly advise during an initial consultation if your choice is suitable for propagation by cutting. We will also recommend the most favorable time of year and consider your location, to decide on the next step of collecting the cuttings. Cut flowers, for example, from a wedding bouquet or funeral spray require fast acting, whereas flowering shrubs or trees can be subject to planning months ahead without any problem.

  3. Cuttings inevitably mean removing small parts of the parent plant, but are taken in ways that never put the parent plant at risk. It is common for some cuttings to fail, and we therefore take several to maximize the best result for you.

  4. We grow your cuttings into well-established, healthy young plants ready to move back to you, accompanied with follow-up advice. This process takes between 6 weeks and 6 months, depending on your baby. Exciting!
